Location: Lakeside, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 – $23.00
Reports To: Operations Manager
About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Office Administrator to support daily operations in our office and employees in the field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must have solid communication skills as you’ll handle a mix of administrative support, inventory tracking, shipping and receiving, basic tech support, and fleet coordination.
What You’ll Do
Office & Warehouse Management
Open and close the main office and warehouse daily
Answer phones, emails, and respond to incoming/outgoing mail
Keep office and warehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked
Support budgeting and light bookkeeping tasks
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory of tools and construction equipment
Audit, track, and report inventory levels; recommend reorders
Distribute tools and materials to employees and job sites
Manage inventory stored in fleet vehicles, storage units, and jobsites
Coordinate tool calibrations and re-certifications
Shipping & Receiving
Prepare outgoing shipments: package, weigh, and label items
Track incoming and outgoing packages and update status
Process shipment orders accurately
Send out recognition gifts to employees and clients
Move shipments and materials in/out of warehouse
Calculate shipping/freight costs when needed
Fleet Management
Schedule regular maintenance for company vehicles
Monitor fleet usage and create reports on schedules and maintenance
Provide occasional local transportation for management using company vehicles
Basic Tech Support
Manage office IT equipment (phones, laptops, printers, etc.)
Provide basic troubleshooting and support for employees’ devices
Other Responsibilities
Pitch in with additional tasks and projects as needed to support the team
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in an administrative role
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office platforms such as Excel and Outlook
Availability to work Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and stay detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
College degree
Experience in an administrative role within a construction or related field

Physical Demands
This position requires the worker to sit at and navigate a computer workstation for about half of the workday. The other portion of the day may involve moving throughout the office, with frequent light lifting, bending, and reaching of up to 25 pounds.
